გაიცანით ხელოვანი, ანთროპოლოგი და მკვლევარი – ლიკა ჯალაღანია

“I do not call myself an artist; I am more of a visual ethnographer, so the artistic technique is less significant in my works. These sketches describe often invisible yet real everyday occurrences in time and space, the labor of women's care, their care objects, feminine sensibilities, solitude, and the shared joy of being together.

It is precisely these small details of life and everyday existence that come together in my sketches – those that often play only a background role in our existence. While working on the sketches, I unintentionally emphasized this “background,” and it disappeared, which hindered my ability to see it, thus almost every work describes, in a way, the fact of noticing these small occurrences and strives to assign deserved value to these details.”
